The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have resolved to collaborate in ensuring better efficiency in Hajj Operations. This was announced when the ChairmanjCEO of NAHCON Barr. Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed, MON led a delegation of the Commission to the Aviation House, Lagos on Wednesday, 3rd February, 2016 on a courtesy visit to the Director General of the NCAA,Captain Muhtar Usman.
In line with the Excess Luggage Policy of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), all luggage in excess of the maximum allowed limit of 32kg checked-in suitcase and 8kg hand luggage per pilgrim are to be air freighted through by cargo operators/ cargo agents/ air freight forwarders, as the designated Hajj carriers are not allowed to carry such excess luggage.
Interested Nigerian/Foreign airlines/carriers with requisite operating authorization and experience are hereby invited to submit applications in accordance with the prescribed application form, for the airlift of pilgrims under the State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commissions from Nigeria to and from Saudi Arabia for 2016 Hajj.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria hereby informs all registered Travel Agencies interested in Hajj operations that arrangement for 2016 Hajj licensing and slot allocation has commenced.
COLLECTION OF 2016 HAJJ FORM BY TOUR OPERATORS
Stage 1: Present your written application and Bank Draft to the Chairman/CEO’s office on the 2nd Floor for stamping.
Stage 2: Present your stamped written application and Bank Draft of N200,000:00 to the Accounts Department on the 1st Floor Room 221.
Stage 3: Collect the original receipt of your payment from the Accounts Officer.
Stage 4: The duplicate copy of the receipt is to be attached to your written application by the Accounts officer
The Saudi Arabian Government has commended the Kebbi State 2015 Hajj Committee for its credible conduct of the State Pilgrims during this year’s Pilgrimage. Alhaji Isah Assalafi, the Chairman of the committee told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi on Monday.
